Me, too!!! The trailer makes Episode III look darker than Episodes I and II, given the plot, and exciting with some very promising action scenes--or ANY scene involving light sabers would be cool!

May 2005 is going to be one great month!

mhrc4 03-17-2005 11:19 AM

okay, finally watched it - im ready!

Jazzman 03-17-2005 01:56 PM

Well, that made me nearly wet myself. I'm so stoked for May to hurry up and get here. The only down side is that all of these characters are going to die now that I've come to like them; Mace Windu, etc. Oh well, as long as I get to see Hayden burn....

Burn baby burn. Jedi inferno! Burn baby burn, oh yeah.....

Chernabog 03-17-2005 07:05 PM

Nope, still not excited about this movie. Maybe I'll put it on my Netflix list.

I'm much more excited about getting Knights of the Old Republic 2 for my PC than I am for whatever Lucas the Hutt is going to vomit onto the general public.

CoasterMatt 03-17-2005 07:36 PM

No, Chernabog, I think you're holding back something; tell us how you REALLY feel ;)

Gemini Cricket 03-17-2005 07:41 PM

Was that Chewbacca? It looked like him.

I can't wait to see it. I'm curious to see how they tie in the first trilogy into the second.

:)

CoasterMatt 03-17-2005 08:05 PM

Where does the Christmas special fit in to all this? :D

All Wookies look pretty much the same. I can't remember what their lifespan is, so it could be him, perhaps.

Not Afraid 03-17-2005 11:43 PM

Eh. I guess I'm just tired of this stuff. It has been going on since I was 16, So, I'd a bit lacking in excitement.

My god, I am such a geek.

Wookies

Gemini Cricket 03-18-2005 07:55 AM

I looked up the film on imdb.com and found that it is Chewbacca. There's also an infant Luke and Leia in the film as well as: Mon Mothma, Bail Organa, Captain Antillies, Lars -n- Beru and Nien Nunb.

wendybeth ~ I'm a geek, too. :) (And I couldn't make your link work...)

GC- it's working for me- of course that doesn't mean much....;)

Here's an excerpt:
"An average adult Wookiee stands more than two meters tall, and has a lifespan of several centuries. Aside from great strength and keen senses, Wookiees also have impressive regenerative abilities that allow them to recover from injury at a remarkable rate. Wookiees also have wickedly curved retractable claws used for climbing. Wookiee honor dictates that these claws are never used in fighting."

GC - next time, please use spoiler tags. I'm avoiding spoiler sites.

Chernabog 03-18-2005 11:40 AM

Y'all want a spoiler? Here's a spoiler:

Spoiler:
You will die alone.

(OK so I stole that from Triumph, sue me. It just SO seems to fit.)
