Welcome, ToriBear!

Welcome to posting on the LoT, T!

:)

Kevy Baby 06-23-2008 05:56 PM

That is, if she is approved...

Welcome aboard oh namer of Draco!

I guess this I should clean up my act a bit.

BarTopDancer 06-23-2008 06:01 PM

Welcome Tori!

(do I need to change my screen name now?)

Motorboat Cruiser 06-23-2008 06:04 PM

Welcome, Tori! :)

Kevy Baby 06-23-2008 06:07 PM

Interesting... we can see that she is here, but we are not allowed to view her profile yet.

LSPoorEeyorick 06-23-2008 06:13 PM

Right, because the LoT PTB have not approved her yet.

But, welcome!!

Deebs 06-23-2008 06:21 PM

ToriBear!

wolfy999 06-23-2008 06:26 PM

Does this mean Wolfette can join when she's 13? Somehow I find this....just wrong!

I think we should ban Kevy Baby then (you just can't trust what he might say)......????

If approved....then Welcome!

Ghoulish Delight 06-23-2008 06:28 PM

Welcome!

She will be approved soon enough, just some administrative blah blah blah to handle.

libraryvixen 06-23-2008 06:34 PM

Hi Toribear! :) Welcome!

Morrigoon 06-23-2008 07:06 PM

Hiya Toribear!

While she may be ABLE to join, if you don't tell her she can, then you should be okay.

I was wondering if there is some admin function that would put me on "ignore" for her that she would be unable to unlock.

Morrigoon 06-23-2008 08:15 PM

I think if a parent allows their teen to sign up, they do so knowing the content of this site :) So nothing to fear, Kevy!

(mind you, my mom allowed me to start reading filthy romance novels at 13, so I have different opinions about these things. But I turned out okay :))

lashbear 06-23-2008 08:17 PM

ToriBear !! Welcome :D :D :D
Now we can start planning all our Yosemite & Spokane Activities !!!

innerSpaceman 06-23-2008 08:51 PM

Among my people, you are an adult at age 13.

(That's a load of malarky, as too many of us know ... so caveat emptor and welcome, ToriBear.)

wendybeth 06-23-2008 08:56 PM

She'd love that, iSm- but I think Boss scared her with his talk of corduroy leisure suits and seal impressions.

She's 13 now, so I've got to ease up a bit and let her experience stuff- within reason. All I ask is that Emma Watson's furby be covered up with a spoiler tag.;)

scaeagles 06-23-2008 08:57 PM

Toribear, I will not hold it against you that wenchybeth is your mom. Clean slate with me. Let's just hope the apple fell far, far, far, far from the tree.:)

wendybeth 06-23-2008 08:58 PM

I've already told her you voted for Bush. You're toast.

JWBear 06-23-2008 09:00 PM

And I hope she's ten times the liberal her mom is.

Ha! I was gooing to ask her who she'd vote for if she could and then thought "nah". Apparently I should have!

innerSpaceman 06-23-2008 09:01 PM

For purposes of the LoT, does this mean JW and Tori are related, by virture of their screensurnames?

wendybeth 06-23-2008 09:02 PM

Scaeagles, I believe it would be Edward Cullen. He's a fictional character, so I think he'd probably be as good a candidate as any of them.

No- I think she's now Lashbear's goddaughter. I wonder if that will get her into his will?

(Actually, her nickname has always been Tori Bear, or Little Bear).

scaeagles 06-23-2008 09:04 PM

Better than either in this race, I'm sure.

And Lash too.

And Scaeagles... Tori is my bud. We tried to join a different circus (and scared her mom) and she has the same shirt as me. Wild adventures I tell ya! So keep your conservativeness cooties away from her or I'll kick your butt. After she gets done with you first :p

Well, he admits he's a vampire, and he's pretty hot looking. Sounds good to me.

scaeagles 06-23-2008 09:07 PM

If I can handle MBC, ISM, JW, WB, BTD, and all the other 2 and 3 letter names out there, I can handle Tori. I've got a 14.5 year old daughter, so I am prepared.

But I suppose she will get the sympathy vote here if I call her stupid or a liberal whacko or something.

wendybeth 06-23-2008 09:10 PM

Lisa knows where you live, Scaeagles. I'm just sayin'.....

scaeagles 06-23-2008 09:11 PM

She knows my cell number, but I don't think she ever got my address. Although she knows where I coach, and I was there for 4 hours tonight.

Hmmm...that could be bad.

Capt Jack 06-23-2008 09:15 PM

welcome aboard Tori

:argghh:

Snowflake 06-23-2008 09:23 PM

Welcome ToriBear!
LoT just got a little swankier cause you're a pretty cool AR-teest!

The umbrella drink is a soda, or something, okay WB?

BarTopDancer 06-23-2008 09:38 PM

Sca, we all know where you coach.

Snowflake, just get the kid drunk.

Tref 06-23-2008 09:43 PM

Has Tori met David E, yet?

Not Afraid 06-23-2008 10:06 PM

Now that's it's past her bedtime, I've approved her.

Our admin blah blah blah was due to not being on line most of the day.

Now....

Welcome Tori!!!!

Stick around and I'll show you how to stalk SCAEagles.

€uroMeinke 06-23-2008 10:20 PM

lashbear 06-23-2008 10:43 PM

Welcome, TB!

Just to put things in perspective, I was 13 in the mid-1970s, so that explains the leisure suit. When I was your age, I was most likely on restriction for some mischievious nonsense involving bicycles, tennis balls, gasoline and fire. Technically speaking, I'm still on restriction...

The point is...you have the coolest mom ever, but you already knew that.

Welcome, but remember this board has no such rules as does MousePlanet. I'd call it a PG13 rather than G rating. ;)

ToriBear 06-24-2008 12:25 PM

Hey guys!!!! I'm so happy to be finally on the LoT! Sorry I couldn't post yesterday, I was really tired and also wanted to play my new game, Dragon ball Z on the Wii.

Oh btw, Scaeagles- My mom warned me about you. She says you're a nice version of Satan. XD

For Alex: :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

scaeagles 06-24-2008 12:29 PM

That's just great.

You're a teenage girl. You should know your mom knows nothing!

wendybeth 06-24-2008 12:34 PM

I really think she's going to fit in quite well around here.:D

scaeagles 06-24-2008 12:48 PM

Everyone else is just jealous because obviously Tori likes us (me and Alex) the most.

LSPoorEeyorick 06-24-2008 12:48 PM

I think Tori is a sock puppet for WB.

I am wiser than my years, not older. Even if I were older than my years, it would take a lot of that to catch up to you mom.

ToriBear 06-24-2008 04:43 PM

Mom says boys peak at the age of seventeen then it's all downhill from there and girls at the age of thirty seven.

Mom's all wrong.

Unless you're just looking for ze physical. But boys remain just that ... boys ... until they are 35 or so.

BarTopDancer 06-24-2008 04:47 PM

And then they remain perpetually 16.

JWBear 06-24-2008 04:57 PM

Welcome to the LoT,

With love and hugs from The Stoat and on behalf of SusieAnne Krellingshaw, whose age remains perpetually 11.5 years (so I have to post on her behalf...which is probably just as well).

Ain't gonna happen on the dating thing for quite a while, dear. Good try. The thought of her driving is nerve wracking, but mainly because of how she drives in Mario Kart. She's a lunatic.

The trick is to present it as a fait accompli - the dating that is. I recommend going away to a week-long camp and simply announcing when they come to pick you up that you now have a boyfriend. They'll be too shocked to protest.

Bonus points if it's church camp.

(Boy is your mom going to be glad I'm leaving the state of WA.....)

ToriBear 06-24-2008 10:32 PM

Hahahahha! Mom thinks you're very funny. And besides, one of her co-workers teases me about a guy I like and keeps saying he's my boyfriend. I have yet to get him back. But I will.......
