New "Vintage" Merchandise Pictures!

Just went to the park today, and I took photos of the new vintage merchandise that's now available. Enjoy!!

Vintage Disneyland Stuff
It's Swanky!!! :snap:

dsnylndmom 03-18-2005 11:55 PM

Oh I love those, love love love the tray and the mini glasses and oh it's all so cute!

mousepod 03-19-2005 12:07 AM

Thanks for the pictures!

Looks like I'll be breaking my piggie bank...

libraryvixen 03-19-2005 12:40 AM

Teresa... those are some excellent pictures of some great things. I'm with mousepod... I'll be poor when I leave the park!

Mousey Girl 03-19-2005 01:54 AM

I want the pens!!! *sigh*

MickeyLumbo 03-19-2005 07:27 AM

woo-hoo. i love the vintage clock. i got the t-shirt on wednesday and almost got the monorail game...but i was in such a hurry.

looking forward to a summer filled with awesome merchandise and a bank account filled with zeros:D

ps, SHAG is going to be doing a huge line of merchandise for each land!!:snap:

Ponine 03-19-2005 08:54 AM

Oh.. I'm so in... I knew there was a reason I bought NOTHING when I was at MA.
Disneyphile, are all your pics from the Emporium?

MerryPrankster 03-19-2005 08:58 AM

Great pics, Teresa! Very cool stuff...I'll take one of everything! :D

Stan4dSteph 03-19-2005 09:34 AM

I guess it's good they didn't have any of that when I was there last weekend, but now I'll have to mail order.

Not Afraid 03-19-2005 10:07 AM

WOW! Cool stuff! And HAROLD!!! Lots of Harold. This is going to be an expensive 50th.

Thanks for the pics, Teresa!

Ponine 03-19-2005 10:29 AM

Do translate.. Harold?

mistyisjafo 03-19-2005 10:35 AM

Already got my gold mouse ears and a really cool vintage sweatshirt!

Not Afraid 03-19-2005 10:35 AM

Harold is the name of the Abominable Snowman in the Matterhorn.

(I'm trying to spell Abominable and Chris is blathering on about how cool it would be to have an Abominable Snowman tatooed on your belly so it would be the Abdominal Snowman. This is what I have to live with, folks!)

Ponine 03-19-2005 10:53 AM

And here I was wondering how I didnt know thats artists name was Harold. I'm with you now.

You let him get that tatoo... then you and I can stand waaaaaay over there while he shows it off at the park. Maybe he could make it dance.

Not Afraid 03-19-2005 11:01 AM

He could make it dance alright! Ooops. Be nice. He's in the kitchen making Omlettes.

I have decided I want the Wine Charms because I have Fantasia ones I got at WDW - and, with our house being party central, you can never have enough wine charms.

Otherwise, the clock and ashtray are both pretty damn cool.

I'm waiting for more stuff. A new watch would be cool (not the cheapo version) and some other shirts. I haven't fallen in love with any of them yet - and maybe that is just because I already own an awful lot of Disneyland shirts. I also can't wait to see the Shag stuff, but, at the same time, it scares me.

Money Money Money
Money makes the world go around
The world go around
The world go around
Money makes the world go around
It makes the world go 'round.

Ponine 03-19-2005 11:09 AM

Money money money.. always sunny, in a rich mans world.
Thats what you made me sing.

I think I might need that cute brown bag... or the strech-t if it comes in xl or xxl. The down side of being chesty.

Might have to get the ashtry for a friend. Though it could make a good earring catch.
Decisions.. and I have to have the sticky notes...

I'm wondering about Reza Abdoh's Orpheus and Eurydice. I wonder if anyone besides Not Afraid has any idea what I'm talking about, or why I should be thinking about pierced naked men clogging. I wonder why I haven't been to LATC in awhile.

Not Afraid 03-19-2005 11:17 AM

LOL! Oh yeah. Nothing better than a play featuring naked, pierced clogging men - OR a man who could like his big belly dance wildly. Those were the days, huh?

Too bad Reza Abdoh had to go and die.

Claire 03-19-2005 11:20 AM

I wonder why I just exclaimed, "Cute ashtray!"

I wonder why I'm lusting over a Bingo game.

Oops, wrong thread......

Cadaverous Pallor 03-19-2005 08:38 PM

Oh my God.

As a person who doesn't buy much merch....let me say now that I'm so scared of how much of this stuff I really, really want to acquire.

And more Shag? Lordy lou, I don't know if I can control myself much longer.
http://pics.livejournal.com/disneyphile/pic/0000w73t/g6

MickeyLumbo 03-19-2005 08:42 PM

yeah, my source says shag is doing merch for every land!!! not just tiki/adventureland.

Ponine 03-19-2005 08:59 PM

I think that our first stop in the am might be to get that bingo game... thats wonderful.
Otherwise... wow.. I cant decide... The brown purse, the blue t, ................

Cadaverous Pallor 03-21-2005 01:57 PM

Seeing it in person is much more dangerous. :D

I think I'll drool on this stuff for a few more weeks before breaking down and buying a shirt. It'll make it seem more worth my money.

I can only imagine. How much is the merch running for? (That way, I know what to save up for purchase and shipping home! ;) )

mhrc4 03-21-2005 02:54 PM

oye, wife LOVES the retro disneyland stuff, this is going to be an expensive 50th..

and I love the shirt, besides, nothing else says "annoying annual passholder" like being decked out in Merch that just came out 2 weeks ago!

Cadaverous Pallor 03-21-2005 04:47 PM

The little purses are $14. The wine glass charms are $14. The girly shirts are $26, I think.

Danka CP! Well I was eyeing the cute little purses... so $14 sounds about right.

Yes.. I will be SO poor when I come out with many bags of merch.

Mr. Fusion 03-22-2005 12:52 AM

Coming Soon!

More Shag!

Plus more upcoming merchandise...

Stan4dSteph 03-22-2005 09:51 AM

I need a close up of that Shag stuff!

flippyshark 03-22-2005 11:52 AM

I can't get out there until 2006. Will this stuff still be around by then? I want it all! (Well, lots of it...)

(800) 362-4533 Disneyland DelivEars

Not Afraid 03-22-2005 01:14 PM

Or try me, I might be good for it. ;)

Cadaverous Pallor 03-22-2005 02:03 PM

Where's the Shag stuff? Didn't see that on Sunday.

Betty 03-22-2005 06:17 PM

I don't smoke yet I *need* that ashtray! Love all this stuff. Amazing that they didn't act on the retro Disney thing before now.

dsnylndmom 03-22-2005 08:25 PM

I'm so happy that Disney realizes that they can sell to grownups!
(but I will be getting myself one of those sets of golden mouse ears, too)
