I saw that earlier and was very confused since I very specifically remembered Bozo the Clown dying while I was living in Hawaii back in '96-'98.

That was Bob Bell, the WGN version of Bozo the Clown. I've never seen any version of Bozo (we had Ramblin' Rod in the Portland TV market) and didn't know it was a franchise.

Larry Harmon was kind of like the Ray Croc of Bozos.

The original Bozo was Pinto Colvig, known for his voicing of "Goofy" around these parts :)

I like that analogy.

That's spooky, since I mentioned the little golden book about Bozo just the other day !!

This is the Bozo I met in 1964, I got a Water Wiggle out of the deal - Mom says he was drunk.

*sniff!* Memories are all we really have.

I love my water wiggle, too, though, be careful about taking it out in public. Strange as it seems, not everybody is as happy to see it as you are to show it.

That's the creepiest looking party entertainment I've seen in a while.

I had that exact punching bag! I loved that thing.

Also had a Water Wiggle, loved it. We used to play with it while frolicking in the shallow end of the swimming pool in my backyard. I wish I could be doing that today, actually.

This sounds just like my mom. She wouldn't let me have an Etch-a-Sketch because she was certain I'd shatter it and eat the mercury.

My friend's brother (age 9) once got chosen from the audience to participate on the Bozo show. He apparently got mad at Bozo for telling him to do something and told him to fu<k off. :)

I've got th Bozo punching bag in my living room. And Maddy took a photo of it and made it so it shows up every time her dad calls my phone :)

It makes me laugh every time. I'm not sure she actually gets what a Bozo is. She's also got his ringtone set to Macho Duck.

Caption for the picture: "What the hell is this I just pulled out of my nose??!!"

And I like the sleves on the outfit so that if he had a few too many drinks and forgot who he was suppose to be he could look down and read the Bozo on there!

Best drunk clown was in "Uncle Buck."
