Ben and Jerry's made a new flavor.

lashbear 07-15-2008 06:31 PM

BDBopper 07-15-2008 06:41 PM

What is butter brickle?

Not Afraid 07-15-2008 07:30 PM

Butter Brickle is yummy.

BDBopper 07-15-2008 07:34 PM

is it like Butterfinger?

Not Afraid 07-15-2008 07:37 PM

More like a Heath bar.

I remember the ads."Got a nickel? Butter Brickle,... candy bar!"

My mother used to be the CFO of a company that had its annual meeting in VT every year. While the adults were meeting and golfing all the kids would go to the Ben and Jerry factory take the tour and eat a ton of ice cream

BDBopper 07-15-2008 07:43 PM

Sounds interesting and worth a try if I was ever in state of Vermont

BTW love your avatar, Ken! :)

I loved the Ben and Jerry's tour! And I'm sad there won't be any Goodbye, Yellow Brickle Road coming to a city near us.

Stan4dSteph 07-16-2008 12:10 AM

If there's any by the time I'm back to the US, I will try to sample it.

My favorite flavor as a kid. Vanilla based ice cream with little toffee bits in it. It was yummy.

I wish B&J would spread some of that around, it sounds divine

Me too. I'm hoping they release it after the tour.

Wow! That sounds scrumptious! I wish this was a nationwide thing. I'd buy some.

I loved buterbricklie when I was a kid. My great Aunt always had that and maple nut but I loved the brickle!

B & J's would sound better with vanilla ice cream, definitely.

Maybe we should write letters?

Agreed. I propose that we start with the letters 'R' and 'W.'

Kill me now. When I read the thread title, my first association wasn't Ben and Jerry's. It wasn't even Bennington College, where we visited last summer.

No, my first thought was The Vermont Country Store, purveyors of galoshes, support hose, water wings, and other old people stuff.

I'm going to send you a case of Bag Balm as punishment.
