Wii Want Sex

Nintendo should read this.

Quote:

But let’s not limit ourselves to perversion. Think of how many marriages could be saved. For most couples it would be extremely embarrassing to have to seek out the help of a sex therapist. Private, virtual, hands-on sex training could be a boon to failing relationships everywhere and a huge video game market - no doubt leading to many a happy happy ending.

On a 21' x 12' screen. I wonder how the neighbors would react to that...

€uroMeinke 07-15-2008 06:57 PM

Amusing idea, but I'm wondering what real skills you could pick up that way - besides the fact that bad sex is usually more symptom than cause of relationship problems. And who says that what Wii likes it is the way your partner likes it?

Cadaverous Pallor 07-15-2008 08:55 PM

Skills for the real world? Ha. This would be a big sell for gamers. No more dating. Just fvck a virtual chick. Done.

tracilicious 07-15-2008 09:55 PM

Are the hardcore gamers really dating that much anyways?

Gn2Dlnd 07-16-2008 01:45 AM

If the one that lives across the hall from me is an example, then yes.

Gamers are like the rest of us...

I used to have a snobby attitude about them until, ahem WOW, I actually met some. And realized another sneaky prejudice I hadn't really acknowledged to myself had gotten shattered. They are just as (potentially) interesting, intelligent, funny, and swanky as anyone, but their thang is games...not Disney, not Star Wars, not Harry Potter books, not bacon...well you get the idea.

My attitude these days is this: never hate on another geekdom.

Word.

Moonliner 07-16-2008 05:28 AM

And the Wii version would come with a mute button. That could be a real plus.

scaeagles 07-16-2008 05:56 AM

Hey, you can get with a hooker on Grand Theft Auto 4 (or so I've read), so why not Wii sex?

If I came across as a hater, I apologize, that was not my intent. I know plenty of gamers, my brothers are gamers, I totally dig gaming culture, etc. My jokes about gamers come from a fond place. You do know that my husband was a D&D guy? :)

flippyshark 07-16-2008 09:31 AM

Gamer here as well. (I love dungeon crawls of several stripes.) And, I took no offense to CPs comment. I chuckled and thought, yeah, true enough.

Not to derail too much, but does anyone here ever play Arkham Horror? It's my current favorite game. (Lovecraft-based board game that will take up an entire dining room table with arcane cards, chits and assorted other bits. A typical game can take 4 to 6 hours easily. It's a cooperative game, so it's all the players against the game itself, which I think is brilliant.)

I'm actually kind of surprised that there haven't been more games with graphic sex and nudity by now. (Anyone remember the incredibly lame unauthorized Atari 2600 game Custer's Revenge?) Here's an article that covers this sad territory.

Ditto that. I have way too much of a fondness for RPG's and a slew of gaming friends.

No worries! My post wasn't really directed at any one person -- more at the direction I was afraid the thread was going. Plus, I'm sure I'm hypersensitive as I've been geekbashed pretty hard in public in my life -- not HERE of course.

I didn't know all that stuff about the family/hubby, though: coolness! :snap:

Oh dear. That sounds just like something we'd love. We're huge gamers, and can easily kill a weekend evening just playing various games, or a game, especially one that is fantasy-based.

There were quite a few "underground" games for that system. And, I have them. ;) (It's a mame/rom thing on my PC, but they were originally made for the 2600.) Anyway, one of the games was designed off "Kaboom!", but the "catcher" is a naked woman with her mouth open and tilted back, and the "dropper" is a naked man that is um... servicing himself and letting it drop below. ;) There's another one where you play a knight trying to rescue a princess in a castle, and once you arrive at her tower, you both end up naked, she bends over, and you can have your way with her as long as you like by moving the controller back and forth.

It's 8-bits of "exciting" fun. ;)
