Wave at me when you go through Camarillo! And have fun. My friend and I went last year. Good stuff. The best was the inflatable pub. I hope they have it again this year- it made me laugh.

wolfy999 10-11-2008 02:05 PM

Now it really sounds fun!

We were there all day today...pretty freaking swanky! Next year we're going both days. And right now my caber is utterly tossed and my pipes done been played. Must sleep!

Well... We didn't see an inflatable pub anywhere. Sorry.

Bill said the games "weren't up to their usual standards", and there were very few cute men in kilts. I did manage to buy some stuff. Overall, somewhat disappointing, but still a fun day.

alphabassettgrrl 10-12-2008 08:05 PM

I'm sad it wasn't up to its usual self. Last year was awesome.

JWBear 10-12-2008 08:07 PM

I almost forgot! The Wicked Tinkers were there. Love me some Tinkers...

We didn't take many pictures, but here are the highlights:

They had some British cars on display:

Mini!!

A hot Scottish guy throwing something:

Wicked Tinkers on stage:

On the way home, we stopped at the little eatery we used to frequent when Bill still lived in Venice:

Morrigoon 10-12-2008 11:04 PM

OMG the inflatable pub is priceless!

Yes.

alphabassettgrrl 10-13-2008 09:52 AM

Looks like your guy is throwing a hammer. Amazing to watch how far those things go.

I saw the Tinkers last year- good stuff! Crazy, but good music.

Love those cars.
