Check the Halloween Candy for Melamine
Every year I go through the candy wondering what I should be looking for - errant razor blades sticking out of snickers bars and the like.
This year though, you should check for chocolate made in China like the Pirate coins noted here on snopes: http://www.snopes.com/food/warnings/coins.asp It does say none were vended in the USA. The warning is for Canada. Still, if I found any of the pirate coins, I would toss them. Why take chances. |

Is bad chocolate better than no chocolate?

I'm usually pretty ecumenical about my chocolate; but when you introduce the Melamine Roulette angle, I'm tempted to swear off all but the really, really good stuff.

I'm the strange one who actually loves the taste of carob.
Anyway, I clicked on the product from Sherwood and they even claim it to be "Kosher". I didn't think melamine was Kosher..... Somebody's lyin' somewhere!! |
Is melamine the reason the Cadbury's bunny clucks?
|
I don't mind carob but I would definitely prefer no chocolate to bad chocolate. Bad chocolate ... I still want chocolate. At least with no chocolate I might be motivated into getting some good chocolate.
