HB scaeagles! I'd say "may all your dreams come true" but then Ronald Reagan would come back to life, Pet Sematary style, and try to eat brains. Be careful what you wish for on this magical day ;)

And the problem with that would be....????? :)

Thanks all!

GC, that cake is my dream B-day cake, but I wouldn't be able to put a knife in it. Destroying art isn't cool!

I might say that's not the nicest birthday wish ever.

Then you've never met my mother, LOL (One of my brothers was 12 lbs... she never had a C-section, though she nearly shot me across the room at 8lbs 6oz)

Happiest of Birthdays to my comrade in arms!

Heaviest Birth
Anna Bates (née Swan) (Canada) (1846–88), who measured 2.27 m (7 ft 5.5 in) tall, gave birth to a boy weighing 10.8 kg (23 lb 12 oz) and measuring 76 cm (30 in) long, at her home in Seville, Ohio, USA, on January 19, 1879, but the baby died 11 hours later.

The heaviest baby born to a healthy mother was a boy weighing 10.2 kg (22 lb 8 oz) who was born to Sig. Carmelina Fedele (Italy) at Aversa, Italy in September 1955.

wendybeth 11-18-2008 12:01 PM

Happy Birthday, you big baby!;)

(What one is this, hmm? 40-something.......)

Strangler Lewis 11-18-2008 12:09 PM

40 is the new 30. Unless you're a conservative Republican. Then, it's the new 53.

scaeagles 11-18-2008 12:09 PM

You're older than me, WB. Neener-neener.

I am indeed 40. The big 4-0. Sigh.

Even if it is the new 53, I act like an adolescent teen most of the time, so I'd never pass for it.

Very busy, not intentionally MIA. I coach HS basketball and the season is in full swing, and my eldest daughter is in her first season of HS basketball as well (team captain, starting point guard on the JV team as a freshman), so it's almost double the norm of activity during an already busy time. And my work just had a software release last weekend.

Thanks for checking, though. I pop in and read quickly on occasion, but not much time to post.

Not that I'm a proud dad or anything, but here's my hoopster -

Betty 12-10-2008 11:56 AM

Glad to see you aren't MIA on purpose. :)

I do coach guys. I am finding it very, very difficult to be a parent in the stands and I keep my mouth shut. Hard for me to be a fan rather than a coach when I see things that are done incorrectly.

I don't think she'll be registering any time soon, though. What I tell her about you people scares her. :)
