:(

Christmas sucks.

BDBopper 12-25-2008 05:51 PM

Awww how sad. :(

flippyshark 12-25-2008 06:12 PM

Orson Welles called her "the most exciting woman in the world," apparently speaking from experience. I got to see her narrate the Candlelight procession at Epcot a few years back. Class act, for sure. :(

Sad news. Eartha and Pinter in the same day. Not good Christmas news.

Stan4dSteph 12-25-2008 07:39 PM

Good bye Eartha. :(

The after-life just got a big more exciting. Alas, this life grows a little more pale.

Bornieo: Fully Loaded 12-25-2008 08:19 PM

What a woman. RIP.

So long, sexy mama.

RIP Yzma

Yzma: Ah, how shall I do it? Oh, I know. I'll turn him into a flea, a harmless, little flea, and then I'll put that flea in a box, and then I'll put that box inside of another box, and then I'll mail that box to myself, and when it arrives...
[laughs]
Yzma: ...I'll smash it with a hammer! It's brilliant, brilliant, brilliant, I tell you! Genius, I say!
[knocks over bottle of poison on flower, which shrivels up and dies]
Yzma: Or, to save on postage, I'll just poison him with this.

I was thinking about Eartha today as I was listening to the NPR obit. When I was a child, she was Cat Woman. I was fascinated by her persona and wanted to know more about her. My parents decided that it was not a good idea to expose their 6 year old to sexy Eartha. See what a good kid i turned out to be because I wasn't exposed to the "real" Eartha?
