I think it's cool that someone is doing this, because it won't be me - must perfect the personal Zeppelin first...

Now there is a wonderful idea, although there is much prior art and more if you use zeppelin rather than airship.

A small personal airship is a great idea.

Looks like an f'n blast.

They're using squirrel suits. Those things are awesome! They lower your terminal velocity by a huge amount by increasing drag (note the material stretched between the legs and extra on the sides as well). I've gone sky diving a few times, but the squirrel suits are usually only sold to those with more than 500 jumps. Supposedly an experienced jumper can jump from 13K feet from 2 miles off shore and glide all the way to shore the shore line before they have to deploy their chute.

Of course, I once played Roller Lacrosse on a wooden dock jutting out into a Lake that lies in the shadow of an active volcano;)
