The LashStoat 50th Birthday Luncheon Meet

Get it - Luncheon Meat? Hehehehe.

FINALLY I get to post what I intended - a Poll... *D'oh*

Hi all !!

We have made a huge Priority Seating for the Stoat's Birthday Luncheon.
The date: Tues April 21
The Time: 11:30am
The Venue: Blue Bayou

Now we need to know who can come to the Luncheon. Please indicate in the poll above.

If you cannot attend for lunch, we will be going out for casual drinks & Munchies (Venue TBA) that evening, so we can catch up then too.

We need to know as soon as possible, so that we can downsize the PS reservation numbers if need be.

Oh, and I'm having a Monte Cristo. So there.

Cheers,
Rob (for the LashPair)

LashStoat 02-21-2009 07:41 PM

Bear...Bear!!!

My cheese accepts this gracious offer, thereby making it ...Happy.

Love and hugs,

The Stoat XXX.

wendybeth 02-21-2009 07:50 PM

Silly old Bear.;)

We'll have to celebrate your big day early at the LoT Yosemite Commune, Stoat!

~MS~ 02-21-2009 08:03 PM

Considering you have another big April birthday that will be at the Yosemite swanking you guys might consider dedicating one evening to being the April birthday party!

Prudence 02-21-2009 09:19 PM

Wish I could make the luncheon! We'll try our darnedest to make the evening festivities.

Not Afraid 02-21-2009 10:11 PM

Mid-week, work day and no AP. Three strikes and you're OUT!

I hope we can do something celebratory in Yosemite and I'll try to make the after hours party.

JWBear 02-21-2009 10:32 PM

Oh... There's the poll!

bewitched 02-22-2009 01:10 AM

Wish I could be there!

BDBopper 02-22-2009 06:02 AM

So sorry I can't be there. :(

innerSpaceman 02-22-2009 08:02 AM

Well, I will have just spent a week with the Stoat, whilst my office (absent yours truly) goes to complete hell that I'll have to deal with upon my return.

Chances of me taking another day off less than 24 hours after I'm back = zero.

My cheese is indeed sad. :(

LSPoorEeyorick 02-22-2009 08:10 AM

Aw! I would love to be able to celebrate with you, but I don't have a lot of vacation thanks to that two-weeks-of-emergency-leave. I could definitely try to make it down in the evening, though. (I'm about an hour away and work closes at 6:30 unless I have a client to tend to later - so hopefully the park will be open late that night!)

wolfy999 02-22-2009 08:12 AM

Due to work the luncheon is a no go, should be able to make the evening event though...so glad you have multiple options!

BarTopDancer 02-22-2009 10:08 AM

Lunch will probably be a no go for me, but I'll do my best to make the evening events.

Kevy Baby 02-22-2009 10:44 AM

Can't make lunch and said yes to evening, though it is only a hope not a guarantee that I will be able to make it.

I will check with Susan as she may be able to make a luncheon.

Ghoulish Delight 02-22-2009 10:55 AM

Stuck at work for luncheon, but we should be able to make it for drinks.

madmonkeygirl 02-22-2009 11:08 AM

Don't think we'll make either one. I ususally work on Tues and never get out early to drive down there or else work late shift. I am limited in days off i take now since my requests for this year are mainly already put in (i did set aside the 29th) and my bday is the 18th so i will be at the park celebrating while you all freeze your butts off in Yosemite. Ha!!!!

Stan4dSteph 02-22-2009 11:29 AM

I don't arrive until Wednesday night, so I'll have to wish you a happy belated!

Mousey Girl 02-22-2009 11:49 AM

hmmm... Since any trip to DLR is out for me, maybe I will have to bake you a cake for Cambria.

innerSpaceman 02-22-2009 12:35 PM

Ok, I should have been clear - I'll certainly make it for evening drinks and munchies.

wolfy999 04-20-2009 06:09 AM

Bump......this is tomorrow.

Drinks & Munchies in the evening??? Where and when???

Snowflake 04-20-2009 07:58 AM

:(

Very sad cheese here. Short-changed last week, but we did share drinkie poos at the Swanky Tonga Room (okay, cheesy swank) I only neglected to birthday toast Stoat.

~MS~ 04-20-2009 09:39 AM

Add another sad cheese here to not be there ON the day...but we did sing to the Lashstoat and celebrate a wee bit early...even if it's not the same.

wolfy999 04-20-2009 08:49 PM

Another bump....when and where....I'd hate to miss this??!!

Not Afraid 04-20-2009 09:40 PM

I will have them post to this thread when they get home from DL tonight.

They will be at the Park during the day but we have other plans for the evening.

CoasterMatt 04-20-2009 09:57 PM

Damn- I'll be working :(

ozron 04-20-2009 10:16 PM

Wait! Stoat's fifty THIS month??! Someone's older than me! That means I can turn over my geezer pin to him! :D

lashbear 04-21-2009 12:39 AM

Hi all !!

We should be at the park around 10-ish. We have a priority seating for a luncheon at Blue Bayou at 11:30, then we play in the park until about 4pm, when we have a big patch of the Mysterious Pink Time.

Anyone who wants to join in at the park would be more than welcome to share this monumental event.

Sorry- this particular 'geezer' has more stamina than most kids half his age. Seriously, I never would have guessed he was anywhere near that milestone.

Happiest of frolic-days, Stoat. Miss you and Bear both.

The same has been said about me. (Of course, you'll just have to take my work of it.)

What can we say? Spring of '59 is an excellent vintage! :D

Disneyphile 04-21-2009 12:57 AM

Would love to be there, but alas, I will be out of town. However, I shall toast the 50th year at Friday's extravaganza! :)

We said hi to you as we drove by the Oregon Zoo exit today- apparently, you were busy, as we heard no reply.;) Seriously considered stopping, but we were running way late.

wolfy999 04-21-2009 06:06 AM

So I'm gathering the evening meet plans have been cancelled?

innerSpaceman 04-21-2009 06:57 AM

Why? They'll be SOMEWHERE in the evening. Can't be helped.

That has a much different meaning to breeders :D

Gn2Dlnd 04-21-2009 02:36 PM

Can't come tonight, but it sounds lurvley.

Wait, what? It's been canceled?

Fine.

innerSpaceman 04-21-2009 02:52 PM

I don't think it's been as much cancelled as carelessly unannounced. The TBA was never A'd.

That said, I daresay Stoat will be at the Park this evening -- if anyone not on the "IN" list cares to sort through a few tens of thousands of people to find him on his 50th and shout "51" real loud.

Not Afraid 04-21-2009 06:20 PM

Steve, you're an asshole.

Sorry, plans change sometimes. I'm sure you can appreciate that.

Oh, and we don't have an "IN" list as a matter of fact, but we're looking to compile an "OUT" list someday.

wolfy999 04-21-2009 09:11 PM

When I first read iSm's post...my first thought was "gee, I'm not on the list". Thank you NA and Lash for clearing that small thought up for me. I understand that plans change.

Yes, Steve I agree with NA on her comment.
