Very cute little critters! I like the last picture best.

And this reminds me, last week I saw a squirrel in my backyard hanging upside down from one branch, trying to reach berries on another. I had never seen this before, is this normal squirrel behavior? I know possums hang upside down, but squirrels? It was cute, but he looked so frustrated!

Squirrels will do anything to get to food, even hang upside down. ;)

So true. I've seen them struggle to crack nuts before, but it was the first time I'd seen one completely inverted. So funny. It kinda made my day, actually.

I think squirrels are so adorable looking. We have one living in our front yard.

I would feed him daily and name him "Nutsy". :D

Not ANYTHING. When was the last time you saw a squirrel with 9-5 job?

The Boy and I were bad in Morro Bay a couple weeks ago...We hand-fed the squirrels that live by the Rock.

They were so darn cute, and a LOT more gentle than my rats are when getting treats.

I was gonna post some pics of road kill squirrels, but I have to draw the line somewhere.

I saw a fat little squirrel scampering away from my car today when I was visiting a client. They are all over Long Beach. Good coyote food.
