I am thinking it was Sac who said that reloading their car was like a game of Tetris.

I have to say I only THOUGHT I saw some creative packing when they were loading Snowflakes care in the parking lot at the Jelly Belly Factory, seeing That Guys and Lisas car makes Snowflakes car look empty!

Well, truth be told, Stoat did a marvelous job packing out little Hyndai Sonata. But, Chris & Lisa's wagon, wow, that's astounding.

Of course I am sure Thurston had plenty of room, too!

It was a tight fit but we all did quite fine. It was a fun drive home but it was good to actually get home.

Leaving Yosemite was a bit more amazing - A short stop caused the sandwich tray to drop into my lap prompting an impromptu mobile deli moment as I pulled out my knife to serve the driver and other passengers their choices of meats and cheeses.

Too bad the bread was perched precariously in the back. ;)

(There was some very creative packing in the Cone-Meinke rig that day. I pity the person who opened the door upon arrival at Cambria).

The moment of opening looked like when the flying car spat out Harry & Ron's luggage.

...OK, not quite, but it's a good mental image and the next HP Movie is coming out soon.

Hey, how did Stoat's knee hold up? He was getting (hobbling) around decently before we left Yosemite, but I was worried it would blow up on him during the drive.....

Not Afraid 04-21-2009 11:53 AM

Stoat's knee is feeling MUCH better. the brace is off and he is not hobbling quite as much. He is on the mend.

Interesting how it takes all our pictures to make a photo story. People concentrate on different things. If you like ornate ceilings, my photos will not disappoint.

I LOVE the pic of the pool at twilight.

And just because I thrive on being difficult, it is a C. ;)

Wow, the roman pool was drained!

everyone looks to be having a rad time!

I had to snag the best for my new avatar. When did the palm tree start growing out of LashBear's head?

Mousey Girl 04-22-2009 09:33 AM

The Roman pool looked way deeper than 10 feet. It was neat to see it without water. You were able to get a perspective of how much shallower the wading area is compared to the majority of the pool.

Cool pix everyone. I've got mine uploaded I just need to go through the 600 or so - should have posted in a day or two.
