Blessed Beltaine/May Day!

It's that time of year again!
(NSFW)

Have a blessed day everyone! May your hopes and dreams blossom into reality! :)

For a bit o' history, May 1st was the time of year that the seeds sown early in the year would start to blossom. To encourage a good harvest, people would celebrate this time of year with fertility "rituals".

It's also how weddings came to be most blessed and popular in June - it was right around that time that women would find out they were bearing the "fruit" from the May 1st rituals. ;)

omg that video made me laugh hysterically.

Those World of Warcraft people have too much time on their hands, but I guess everyone knows that already. ;)

I think I'll celebrate by whining in a corner.

If you celebrate Beltain properly, it will cure your ills

Actually if I celebrate *properly* I suspect I will be completely unable to move tomorrow.
