Dear KB-
I was an angelic child. Mostly. Grandma let Tori open her present early, as she won't be at the party later. (We rented a suite at the Marriot; way less stressful and they have an indoor pool- good thing, because the temps took a dive and it's only about 60 degrees today). Gram gave her a season's pass to the Best of Broadway shows for 2009-2010. She gets to see Fiddler on the Roof (with Topol!), Lion King, etc. Works out good for Eric and myself, as we get the Avenue Q tix. :D |

We had a great birthday party- an overnighter with some friends at a local hotel. Kids stayed up waaay too late playing X-Box, but that was to be expected. Tori got a cool new HP Mini that was stolen mere hours later at Fred Meyers, and we're pretty sure it was an employee who took it. The store was less than cooperative- their attitude was basically "sucks to be you". The guy who I think took it just stood there and smirked at me- they're supposed to be reviewing security tape and if he was the one who took it I hope they can his ass. The cs person said he was a weirdo, and he was. I may just go back and kick his ass on principle.

I read about the laptop on ToriBear's FB page. Sucks. I hope they catch whoever did it and return the laptop.

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! Now that I got my laptop back, I can finally rest in peace. Though, I wonder how it could have gotten to the other side of the store?
