BBC Chat Show Paper Flowers?
 

I've noticed that on current episodes of both The Graham Norton Show and Friday Night with Johnathan Ross both the hosts and guests are wearing what looks like a paper flower on their lapels. Anyone know what the deal on those is? I have not been able to find an explanation online.

We wore them when we were in London Oct 2001. One month after 9/11. Everyone had one on. It was awesome.
