I feel the earth move, under my feet
4.1 quake a few minutes ago. Centered in Milpitas.
|
I seem to have been the only one to feel it on the 6th floor of my Financial District building. Which is odd, I'm usually the the oblivious one.

You are mistaken. Earthquake weather is hot and dry. Anything that happens not during hot and dry conditions is not an earthquake.
|
Compared to my coworkers in Delaware, it is hot and dry here. Maybe, like humidity, earthquake weather is relative.

I always think of millipedes when I hear "Milpitas". And, well, when I hear "Placentia" I think of... never mind, yuck.

That is the grossest thing I have ever seen. WARNING: It's really freaking gross. I am warning you. |
I was in a meeting (yay) at my office in Mountain View and we felt on medium jolt and then nothing else. Now I'm home and there is apparently no damage and the cats aren't noticeably more (or less) psycho than usual.
