Proximity search in Word?

I need to search a long word document to find words that are NEAR each other but I'll be dammed if I can find a way to do it short of importing the entire damn thing into a SQL table.

Is there way in Microsoft Word to find things like: "California" within 20 words of "regulation"?

It looks like there are programs that you can download to search. The file has to be saved as .txt. Other than that (which I learned from Google) I have no clue.

(the link is to the search I did, not a specific application).

I did pretty much the same search but the results are primarily slimy warz sites with questionable offerings.

That was my opinion of it too. Maybe Acrobat has a proximity search?
