Oscar Fashion 2010 Anything you loved? Anything you hated? I thought Helen Mirren looked fabulous. I thought Charlize Theron's gown was odd. She's gorgeous and can pull it off, but I still thought the boob rosettes were weird. Meryl Streep looked lovely (and how great all white, she stood out) but surprisingly subdued for a Chris March gown! |

Time for Mr Bearwell's worst dressed list (in no particular order): Jennifer Lopez: She looks like she wrapped herself up in yards of pink bubble wrap. Zoe Saldana: When I first saw her from the waist up, I was intrigued. Then the camera panned down… Carmen Miranda called; she wants her skirt back! Maggie Gyllenhall: Looks like she stood too long on the side of the Hollywood Freeway in her bedsheets, and got tagged. Miley Cyrus: She forgot to put the top part of her outfit on and was wearing just a bra and a skirt. Vera Farmiga: My eyes! If you dye a coral reef flaming magenta, this is what you get. Sarah Jessica Parker: It looked like she was wearing somebody’s valance and curtains. Signourney Weaver: A sad Christmas present come to life. Gabourey Sidibe: Mo’Nique thanked Hattie McDaniel; Gabourey was wearing her dress! Charlize Teron: Marilyn Monroe’s “Diamonds” dress meets fembots meets Mars Attacks. Molly Ringwald: Looks like she just came from the set of a cheesy B movie. “I am the Queen of Uranus.” Queen Latifah: Weird and unflattering. Just say no. Diane Kruger: No words. Ugh! Kate Winslet: The top looks like it came from the dress that just got Jesse auf’d from Project Runway. |

Sigourney and SJP were the worst offenders of the night for me. At first we thought Sarah Jessica was trying to imitate an Oscar statue, gold body paint and all - - but later we realized she was just the most misguided woman in Hollywood that night. But misguided enough to be the worst thing worn in California in any given month. |

I thought Monique was wearing McDaniels' dress, or an homage to what she was wearing when she won... |

I felt Kate Winslet's dress, hair, and neclace were very classy, almost 1940's art deco. Reminded me of what I'd seen at the Oscars back in then. |
