Kimchi the Pin Up Girl
 

I was forwarded an email from Stephanie at Happy Ending Rescue (where Kimchi came from) that originated from a woman who is doing a calendar featuring hot guys and rescue animals. This is their last calendar.

"Part of the purpose of the calendar is to draw attention to animals that can be adopted from shelters and rescue groups. Last year we featured puppies and kittens from rescue groups.The calendar is very cute and family friendly, and a portion of the proceeds for the 2011 calendar is going to be donated to the SPCA. This year we are doing a baby animals calendar, and another calendar with popular breeds (adult and puppy) like pugs and maltese."


Anyways, they want to use some pugs that were rescued from Happy Ending and Kimchi was chosen for a photo shoot. That doesn't mean she's going to make the calendar but I will get some professional prints from the shoot. We will shoot either this Friday or Saturday in Silverlake - I'm waiting on a confirmed time.

Thurston usually gets all of the attention and admiration but I'm always telling Kimchi what a pretty girl she is. I'm happy she's going to get some attention too!

Now, let's hope she behaves and doesn't bite anyone.

I sincerely hope KimChee makes the cut for the calendar. That would be great!

The next thing we know, Kimchi will get married to some crotchety old gazillionaire who will die a year later, leaving everything to Kimchi which will then get contested by said gazillionaire's family. Kimchi will start making weird appearances where she will appear stoned out of her mind all while everyone around her insists she is fine. She will eventually die under questionable circumstances and a movie of the week will be made about her tragic life. Her lawyer will be arrested and charged with her death.

Maybe I'll get some free jeans out of the deal.

What a fun opportunity for Kimchi! I hope she makes the cut.....and doesn't bite anyone ;)

I'm confirmed for Friday and I believe they want to use Thurston as well (even if he's not a rescue).
