Shakin' in the Southland

Holy crap! Apparently a 6.9 in Baja. Everyone ok?

That sucker shook for a LOOOOOONG time.

For a moment I thought I was on a ship.

Big quake - Shakin' in the Southlans

Just felt a big one. Seems to have been centered around the Mexico border, and we felt it, so it must have been pretty big. Seemed to go on forever, probably a good 30-45 seconds of rolling motion, lots of stuff swaying on the walls. Initial # from CalTech is 6.9.

There was apparently a 4.3 in the same area (near Calexico) yesterday.

Wowie! I was in my office for that one, 16 floors up, and it did feel cruise shippy :p

It did? Wow -- how did the earthquake manage that?

Yeah, for a moment, I thought my ultimate wish had come true - that I was magically transported aboard the Disney Magic.

DISLIKE! Felt like it was never going to stop.

I was in my usual spot for earthquakes - on the toilet. We were outside painting and Chris felt it sitting on the ground.

My first thought was "He is Risen!".
