CoasterMatt - Need Universal Studios Advice

A friend is going to the SoCal area and will be hitting up Universal Studios for a day with his wife, and two kids (aged 10 & 8 (52" & 48"), really easy going, not easily scared). They don't have a full day to spend there, and I want to make sure they get the best stuff to do in, since they really deserve a great vacation.

What are the top five things they need to see/do while they're at the park? Anything else?

Anyone else have any advice??

Thanks!

The tram tour and fork over the money for the front of the line pass.

Ditto, plus the VIP Experience if the $ isn't a problem.

Do you know when they're visiting? I might be able to help them out, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna be around after this week.

They'll be at the park around noon on Sunday. He's flying in from Chicago, meeting his family at Orange Co Airport, then driving up.

They even let you dance on the bar from Tombstone. Or maybe that was just me.

I hope CM is just freaking out a bit, because he's in big trouble at work over a silly error ... and it's a fireable offence apparently - - but (and I hope I'm right) I can't imagine them actually firing him over it.
