Happy Father's Day!

Thanks. Got a father's day gift from God today - all summer (since early May)I've been trying to take the green bouncy ball, stand in the southwest corner of my backyard, bounce it off of just above the second story master bedroom window (throwing the ball in a northwest direction), have it come down with just enough arc to bounce on the balcony, make it over the balcony railing, and make a basket in the basketball hoop at the noth end of my pool. BINGO! First shot of the day. I will never attempt that shot again.

I had an outstanding first father's day weekend, filled with fun, family, friends. I'm now the proud owner of mug proclaiming my dadhood, Theo's handprint in cement, and a collection of CD-ified versions of my favorite childhood LPs.

I could not possibly be happier to be a dad and have the most exceptional mom and kiddo to thank for that. I literally couldn't have done it without you.

Without me? Ah shucks, you're welcome.

Well, I suppose if you look at it from a overall causality perspective...yeah.

I'm not sure what that means, but double ah shucks.

Meaning that without the exact circumstances that lead up to the precise state of the universe at this moment, said state wouldn't exist as-is. So I couldn't have done it without you...or every other little bit of matter/energy in all of existence. So you are just slightly more significant than some muon that is about to blink out of existence 20 billion lightyears from here.
