Training camp started Saturday. Pre-season starts tomorrow.

Aside from the Ducks I'm interested to see how the Sharks do post Nabakov and how the Kings do in general. The Sharks have been one goalie away from a Conference final for awhile and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about them.

The Blackhawks have Turco now so I hate them by default.

It's a clean slate for all.

Take a deep breath and repeat to yourself "Preseason performance is not a reliable metric for predicting play during the season."

It's a wee bit premature to start planning places the players should take the cup on it's day out. Although I must admit "In the back of a convertible for a drive around downtown Pittsburgh" would be good.

But since you did bump this thread... damn it was awesome watching Cory Perry get a penalty shot and hat trick. The icing last night was Bobby Ryan scoring with their players stick. Oh and BR is a right handed shot, their Koivu is a left handed.

Yeah, if DC is going to talk about sports it seems that hockey and the Military Bowl (featuring local favorite, Maryland) are your only options.
