Ig Nobel Awards (Matt, this one's for you!)

The 21st Ig Nobel awards have been announced. They are awarded annually for achievements in science that "first make people laugh, and then make them think"

Among the honorees is Simon Rietveld for his research showing that asthma symptoms can be treated by riding on a roller coaster. That's even cooler that the guy collecting whale snot using a remote control helicopter.
