How much weed?
For the tragically square, could someone please translate for me.
How many average sized joints can one roll from 1oz of weed? And what's the approximate street on 1oz of the good stuff? |
If I were to hypothetically know such things, which I don't of course because that's illegal:
I can't give you a # of joints, other than a lot. An oz. is, I've been told, a fair amount of weed. People usually buy in quantities of ~1/8oz. That, for high quality, goes for ~$50. That will supply an individual daily smoker for anywhere from a week to a month (depending on how much of a smoker they are). It'll keep a couple of buddies entertained for a good number of days. And it will supply a small gathering of friends for a party. An oz. would be something someone would buy if they were throwing a large party, like 20 or more people. Hypothetically. I would imagine that a full oz would probably sell for less than 8x$50, but I've never purchased in that quantity (...or in any quantity of course. Because that would be illegal). As an analogy - an 1/8 is a couple of six packs. An oz. is a keg. |
Wow, that's significantly more than I would have guessed. Bravo to the Governator. That should help clear up the courts/jails big time.
I might need to purchase an extra block or two of Nestle stock. |
an 1/8th will go a week?
I was thinking 1oz per joint. :p ![]() edit: uh...but you know...thats just sorta what Ive heard and stuff ;) |
You could check out weedmaps.com and those links will have prices to different strains - some with pics. Dr's rec is cheap and lasts a year. Not that I would know.

I learn so much around here. (resisting temptation to ask for theoretical information about hookers.)

I got a contact high just googling this. Can't believe I was such a pothead and had no idea what an oz. looked like. Well, actually, I can believe it.
Let me google that for you. ;) |
Do you think there's any coincidence to the fact that pothead and potatohead look like the same word? Weird, man.
