Zip File Question

Figured i'd ask here. If I have something in a zip and I extract the files, is it possible in the future to used the zip file again to extract the files? Meaning if I delete the extracted files or they're lost?

Thanks!!

Extracting from a Zip file does not effect the zip file. You will be able to extract the same files later on.

I don't know if this is a setting, but I know on my computer, when I extract a Zip file (right-click on the Zip file and choose "Extract All..."), it leaves the original Zip file intact - I end up with both a Zip file and the decompressed file/folder. This process leaves the Zip file intact to be unarchived again in the future.

You can test whether this will work by creating a new folder and throwing COPIES of a couple of files into it, and Zip it. After that, Unzip it and see if the original Zip file is still there.
