Art in a Pool

Listening to NPR this evening I heard a piece on a new show at MOCA involving an immersive art experience. Perhaps we should plan a swanking - when it warms up a bit

At the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, museum goers can dive into the art — literally. They can actually swim in it. The pool is tucked into a dark, back corner of the museum. It's 3 feet deep, the size of a mini-lap pool, and it's ringed with small blue lights. An eerie soundtrack plays as large images — featuring lines of cocaine — are projected on either side of the pool.

Would I have to wear a swim suit?

Impoderable: How is art different from a pool party at Robert Evan's house in 1976?

Perhaps they are the same?

Not sure if the art is clothing optional

Okay, sounds cool, but doesn't seem like the kind of art I would bring a child to see (as shown in above photo).

Bring the kids! Cocaine for everyone!

What? No spiders? I call foul!

Why do we need to wait until it warms up? So, yes, this is up my alley.

Having now actually read the article and seeing when this bit of art was created I see now that it actually may be the remnants of an old Robert Evans pool party.

In which case, if you go, I'd consider wearing a full body condom.

I'd like a cocaine installation with pictures of a pool.

If you read/listen to the article it appears the pool is unheated, so a bit chilly
