Today is THE DAY that doomed all of humanity ... because according to "Terminator 2," April 19, 2011 ... at 8:11 PM ... Skynet became self aware, starting a chain of events that led to a war between man and machine.

Where'd you get that date?

In T2:Judgement Day, Skynet goes online on August 4, 1997, then after learning at a geometric rate, becomes self aware at 2:14am Eastern time, August 29th.

Whew, I'm glad there's time. 'Cause we need to have a MAJOR Terminator party on August 29!!!

According to wikipedia that date was from the Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Why did it never occur to the writers to tie in with the Mayan calendar? That would have been hilarious.

Screw that noise, I've got a contract ratification, and an officer election next week- I'm too busy to get nuked.

Looking at the thread title, I thought we had a new LoT member named Skynet. It would be a great username.

And if you follow the SCC then T:3 never happened.

Or SCC is in the future back to the past because the goal was to survive Judgement Day, not prevent it.
