Ummm....Swankers?
Has it occurred to anyone else that that nickname is awfully close to "wankers?" Might I propose "swankster" instead? I think it's a bit more swank being a swankster than a swanker. But then, what do I know about swank?
|
Yes, it is quite close to wanker, isn't it! :D
|
yeah, funny how no one noticed that before now....
;) |
I tend to use both swanker and swankster,
|
Well, I can be kind of a wanker.
So it's appropriate when applied to me, I guess. Swankster does sound better, though. |
It was funny. I saw the thread titled "Swanker meet" and I swear I read "Wanker meat." I'm saying swankster. ;)

Swanker - noun, one who swanks.
Swankster - noun, one who is swank. A subtle distinction. Use whichever you like. Your mileage may vary. |
I think it's funny and I'm sticking with swanker. :D
|
I like swanker too! I try not to thinkabout the wanker and the canker... .
Hmmm, although now I can be a swankster prankster. I'm going to have to think about this. |
