Help me Lashbear you're only hope!

A friend of mine is heading to Sydney for a 2 week vacation. She needs a mobile broadband solution since it looks like Verizon has not assimilated Australia yet.

A quick bit of Google Foo turned up Vodaphone Prepaid broadband. Is this the best way to go or is there a better option?

Using it in Sydney - Yes, definitely. If using it anywhere out of Metro areas, not so much. The great thing about Vodafone (spell it right, please - the youth of today is depending on you) is that there are HEAPS of places to get top-ups if needed.

Is your pedal bin (aka trash can to us Americans) in the shape of R2D2? :D

Top-ups?

Pre-paid broadband plans come with a set number of megabytes. If/when you use them up you can add more via a "Top-up"
