What is the term for a hand which is not dominant?

For right-handed people, their right hand is called their "dominant" hand. What is the term used to describe the non-dominant hand? "Submissive" seems inappropriate. "Non-dominant" seems kludgy. "Recessive" sounds like a term more appropriate to the field of genetics.

I found lots of information on left- vs. right-handedness when I googled this question, but not a term for the hand which is not dominant.

Anyone have a bead on this?

Non-dominant is all I've ever heard.

weak side is a more general term.

I've always thought "offhand" was related to this but looking it up just now, apparently not.

Wouldn't that be your dominate hand?
