But to me it sounds like the "adjacent plaza" either won't have a view of the screen or it won't be a good view, which means you will probably still be on grass. Personally, I would rather be on grass than on concrete.
As far as the screen, while it will probably be better than Cinespia, it will still be a screen that can stand up to the elements, so it is still less than what you will experience in a regular theatre. While there will probably be a difference, it probably wouldn't be appreciable.

Not sure if you caught it, but the Oscar screenings are Friday AND Saturday.

I know there have been less and less LoT excursions to the Cemetery screenings in recent years. What do y'all think of this new offering by the folks at Oscars?

I suspect that the Oscar viewings will have a more middle-of-the-road, family appeal whereas Cinespia will appeal to the (for lack of a better term) more artsy crowd. Hopefully (for the core Cinespia audience, the people selling tickets), the Oscar showings will help thin the Cinespia crowds a bit to make an excursion a little more palatable. Though I would like to check out at least one Oscar viewing. I think it is smart of them to bring in a couple of food trucks; Cinespia would be wise to do something similar.
