Computer "tricks"

Need to explain a tech problem to someone? Search for PSR from the windows search bar (only works in windows 7).

Records what you're doing with some notes to go along with it. I never knew!

Have a new computer to set up? Check out http://ninite.com/

So handy dandy!

Fascinating. After languishing in obscurity this is the third reference to PSR I've run across today. Are you a Reddit reader?

Similar note, "Snipping Tool" is a really great way to take quick screenshots of specific areas of the screen.

:snap: So much easier that my current use of screen shot and picasa to quickly crop it.

Yes, snipping tool is good enough that I've never bothered to install SnagIt on my home machine (the need to screencapture scrolling windows never comes up at home).

(sorry, first thing that came to mind when I saw the words "snipping tool")
