Love the design of this and it would be something that an apt dweller like myself could use. Now, if they could just get them to market!

And unlike traditional wind turbins, they are not obstructive to views. In fact, they are rather cool looking!

I've often thought about how nice it would be to have wind power, mixed with solar. I think a blend of power sources would be optimal, and the way they are made these days, they could look nice as well.

I have a lanai above my back door. There would be space at the outer rim between the support columns where a group of them could fit and for the amount they could generate against what I generally use, 6 units would take care of The Apt in Paradise.

What would be the actual average production for a house as opposed to one where the wind is blowing sufficient for peak production 24/7?
