Paris Segways

Didn't someone here do segway tours in Paris? If so was it worth it and what company did you use, if you remember. Maddie's going in July with her Dad and I was thinking of getting for them for Father's day.

That was us. We LOVED it. We did it our first night there (the night version - seemed right for the City of Lights). Lots of fun, and a really great way to introduce yourself to the city.

Definitely recommend it as one of the FIRST things they do as it gives a brief look at lots of different parts of the city. It would give them a nice way to get oriented, and pick a few things they'd like to go back and see in detail. It would definitely not be as interesting if they'd already spent a few days seeing sites.

That's what I was thinking of, the first night. Thank you!

How much strain is it on your legs? Her Dad has a pin in his hip. He's mobile but still a little off from it.

No more strain than standing.

When I went, I didn't do the tour but some of our group did, and they loved it. I kind of wish I had.

Instead some of us walked down to the Arc de Triomphe and then down to the Eiffel Tower (at night). There is nothing like walking the streets to get close and personal with Paris!

I was a good little streetwalker in Paris.

OK. that sounded wrong.

Maybe I should have done a Segway.

As much as I'd like to take credit - it was a horse not me. (and I wasn't even there when it happened but was lucky enough to spend the evening with him in the ER till he went into surgery. Oye the groaning)

Thanks for the input. I'm going to run it by him and see if it's open their first night there. It sounds like something that they'd both enjoy doing.

They just finished and have declared it "amazing" even in the rain. Thanks everyone for the input.
