Sleeping Beauty Castle Unveil Ceremony

I *think* I saw them testing out the fireworks show on Monday night at around 9:50PM as I was getting out of my class.

Looked like finale material...

I'm so looking forward to this!!

Sounds like an Esplanade Party in the making!

We saw something similar when driving up Harbor Blvd. this evening around 9:40.

MickeyLumbo, Thank you for posting the parade and fireworks schedule in one handy list! More mojo for you! For May 5th's "Remember... Dreams Come True" fireworks at 9:25 p.m., I wonder how early people are going to stake their spots around Central Plaza and Main Street, U.S.A.?

KTLA has primo location for May 4th events...three locations actually...they share the best location with Disney Communications (beaming live broadcast to Cast TV and to each of the worldwide theme parks,) front and center at the hub.

NBC, ABC and CNN will be on the Star Tours Rooftop.

but KTLA will be in the Hub, Matterhorn Way and Main Street.

if anyone would like to hear the fireworks soundtrack, PM me your email addy and make sure it can receive a 7MB file. It is not great quality, but, there are some of you that would still enjoy it!

ML, any word on what will go down at the unveiling on the 5th at 10am? Just the castle and that's it? I'm considering ditching work for this...

announcements for future resort plans will be announced earlier in the morning at DCA...
i am not too comfortable with giving details about the Castle unveil and spoil the fun for anyone... so i think i'll let you make your mind up based on what you feel is best for you.

however, word is that there have been problems with the "curtain/veil" opening
on cue and if it can't be corrected soon, there simply will be no veil. but, i think they will try dilligently to correct it. (although the word i got today was that the curtain was already cut from the ceremony)...we'll see. hope that helps, CP;)

i got a Resort Room for the 4th and 5th and feel very excited that i will actually have a place to park the truck, let alone, not arrive at the gate after 50,000 others have already lined up and covered up my new brick. the anticipation for the first public performance of Remember... Dreams Come True is so incredible. i can't wait!

and, i will get to see Dis and Sparky on the fourth!:cheers:
