Hey Dodgers: remember that the Yankees have had the highest payroll for the past 12 years during which they have only won one World Series.






Yes, they also had the highest payroll in 1999 and 2000 when they won the World Series making it 3 World Series in 14 years of the highest payroll, but after the first two years, it's been pretty slim.

It'll be fun watching the Dodgers and Angels compete for the most bad press.

I meant to one back and post how the Angels are trying to compete with the Dodgers on the payroll race.

For a while, the Astros got to enjoy having the best record in baseball. Probably the only time that is going to happen.

A nice, lively beginning to this year's battle of good vs. evil.
