Super Bowl 2013 - East vs West

From the great state of Maryland to our opponents from California:

In today's contest you have no chance, Left coast bed-wetting types. I burst my pimples at you and call your team a silly thing, you tiny-brained wipers of other people's bottoms!

Alex 02-03-2013 10:34 AM

From this Bay Area resident:

Yeah, ok.

I was raised a 49er faithful. My dad would be having a stroke about now. Every time they made it to the playoffs he got a few new ulcers.

So basically, you're going down.

Are you talking about the hand egg contest? We'll be watching the Commercial Bowl.

flippyshark 02-03-2013 11:35 AM

i like the fact that one team is named after a poem by Poe, so I'm going to side with Moonliner on this one.

You Mary-landers can take your top ranked school system and stick it up your Baltimore Gloryholes.

Niners, baby! Over by halftime.

Ghoulish Delight 02-03-2013 01:17 PM

I have no rooting interest in the game, other than the schdenfreude of watching Alex Smith stew on the sidelines.

It seems like the 49ers are the favorites on paper, but I really think, as good as Kaepernick has been, he just doesn't have the experience to stand up to the most aggressive defense in football in the Super Bowl.

Oh, I mean, the fans of one of those two teams are drooling idiots, or something.

Strangler Lewis 02-03-2013 10:14 PM

Hate! Hate!! HATE!!!

That's not what I meant to say. What I meant to say is that even though both teams were both two seeds, clearly the two best teams in the NFL met today, and I bet if it were a best of seven series, it would go to game seven, and I don't know who would win.

That's not what I meant to say.

What I meant to say was that f***** Akers still managed to lose the game for us with his line drive kickoff and that the Niners won the game at the line of scrimmage, that without Ed Reed's offsides on the two point conversion or the non-call against Crabtree, we would have won anyway. And how could the Niners call four straight pass plays on first and goal on that last drive. Nothing to Gore or a designed play for Kaepernick? Mental.

And I'll still take our confused homophobes over your revival tent murderer any day of the week.

Congratuf*****lations, Baltimore.

Wait, it sounds like you actually watched the game. I didn't know that was part of the assignment.

Strangler Lewis 02-04-2013 06:58 AM

Hate!!! Oh, God. I killed my dogs and bathed in their blood for nothing!

There's always next year. I'll just get better dogs.

And pitchers and catchers report in nine days.
