They have this thing called "weather" be prepared. An umbrella perhaps.

Have a job lined up. Get some Vitamin B-12 pills, but in the meanwhile soak up all the SoCal sunshine that you can. It's gonna be in short supply.

Yeah, as much as I hate their hockey team, Vancouver's a beautiful city.

Have a blast. That's one of very few cities I'd consider moving to.

My new boss & I are working on a development plan to get me in to the Regional Business Center, as an underwriter. Once I get in, I will work the job for a year, then transfer from the RBC in Irvine to the one in Seattle. A better life for me & the one I love.

I love SoCal but I've had enough of sunny days and know enough Cast Members to never need a Disneyland pass when I visit.

Reo & Seattle are my future.

It's been awhile since the last bunch of So Cal expats moved in so you've got that. Go for the city and don't settle for the suburbs which are rainy versions of Irvine. Lot's of great outdoor adventures despite the weather - Lake Quinalt, Ho Rain Forest are things you should take time to see.

Isaac 06-20-2013 08:41 PM

Reo has mentioned some of those things & sends me pictures of them to help sell me on the idea. Reo wants to live in Seattle proper, and I don't see that as a problem, with the career paths we both are developing.

It's so weird. In the past I couldn't see myself living outside of SoCal. Now I can't see myself living, period, without Reo. Not to offend Jaime or Steve, but I believe Reo is the one. :)

If me giving up Disneyland for the man I love isn't commitment, what is ?

LOL!
