As I look over his career, I'm actually astounded at how different he looked in his younger days. I had no idea that the Alien chest bursting guy was the same person who played the war doctor on Doctor Who and even Olivander in Harry Potter (but that was good makeup also). I haven't seen most of his earlier movies, but he will be missed just the same.

I'm not sure why, but the first thing I think of when I hear his name is Winston Smith in 1984.

At first I thought it was William Hurt....
