RIP 2018

Well, 8 months into the year I am not gonna go back and fill in the blanks.

Today we say farewell to the Queen of Soul. I never in my life imagined a world without her in it. That said, my life will never not have her in it.

I can't remember how to add an image without linking to an url.

Barbara Harris

A singular talent, quirky human being who preferred the process more than the performance. Her film work was sparse, but, in every film I found her performances wonderful.

she was in Hitchcock's final film, and remains one of my favorites of his blondes. A lot of film people do not like Family Plot, I on the other hand, loved it. It is fun with a touch of thriller and I've seen it more times than I can count.

I played the soundtrack to On a Clear Day You Can See Forever all through my youth and still wish she had been cast in the film rather than Streisand.
