The Saw Doctors

An Irish band, been around for a good long while. I've seen them live a few times in New York City. They are great fun.

They are coming to The Knitting Factory on May 18th, 8:00. Tickets are $15.00. I've already purchased mine, but I thought I'd see if anyone else was interested in seeing them play, or if anyone else even knows who they are.

I haven't heard anything from their newer cd's, but they are a real delight live. Their friendly stage banter is also quite amusing.

Cheers!

I HATE ALL OF YOU ABANDONERS! I CAN'T BELIEVE I HAVE TO SEE THIS BAND BY MYSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where are all the party animals here?

Where are all the people who want to drink beer and listen to Irish music?

Where are all the people who want to spend time with ME! I'm hilarious and a real good time!

Bastards. All of you are bastards!

Ouch, babe. ;)

Some of us don't usually go to a Wednesday night show, especially if they live somewhat far away. Some of us just blew lots of money on Coachella and don't usually go to concerts anyway. Some of us are feeling like homebodies and would like the close the blinds and hide under the covers.

Some of us. Others are just lazy. :p But all of us love you, even when you call us bastards, because we know that's a term of endearment from you. Heh.

Yeah, it is. I do adore you bastards, even if you are bastards.

Besides, if I'm alone, I can't be accountable for my actions. Look for me on video: "Girls With Low Self Esteem". Ah, but I do love Arrested Development.

Good times!

SOME of us, live far enough away that no matter how entertaining the love of our life is, and how much we want to please her, we jsut cant get there in time to see said show, or stay awake long enough to drive home that night to get back to work in the morning.

;)

Because of this, we dont try lead her on, by saying it sounds fun.

Distance is a crap excuse, Ponine! What, just 'cause your a mom and have a job and other responsibilities? Are you kidding me?!?!

Bailer!

Chris is in Philly and I am incapable of having a life without him. I'll be staying at home, lonley, and attempting to do something productive.

Philadelphia might be my favorite American city. I'm quite jealous of your husband right now.

I hope you have a productive evening, sweets, while I'm enjoying good music and hitching rides home from deranged perverts!

Not Afraid 05-17-2005 11:06 AM

Deranged perverts! Now that sounds like fun!

MickeyD 05-17-2005 11:37 AM

Aww, it sounds like fun, and I'd go, and more importantly give you a ride to save you from deranged perverts, but I do have to work Wednesday night. :(
