Is the finger extra?
|
Lol! Yes, that's on the dollar menu.

Thanks for the heads up!
My boy loves frostys, and free is a great price. Of course you know we can't just get the frosty, he's a growing boy! You know Wendy's is counting on that though, get you in the door and you'll buysomething. |
I was juuuuust going to post this!!!
My husband called all excited about it......he's already plotting....going through the drive-thru, then walking in.....double the Frosty goodage each visit. Plus, he's decided we can go in late morning, then again after dinner, because there would be a shift change. On top of that, we have two Wendy's within a mile or so of our house, so he's counting on at least eight free Frosty's per day. |

- - - - - - Wendy's finger suspect extradicted to San Jose Sat May 7, 2005 09:07 PM ET SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - The woman who said she found a finger in a bowl of chili in a Wendy's restaurant has been extradited from Las Vegas to San Jose, California, to face charges for the incident, police said on Saturday. Enrique Garcia, a spokesman for the San Jose Police Department, said Anna Ayala has been booked into the local Santa Clara County jail after being transferred from the custody of Las Vegas police. Ayala attracted nationwide media attention after saying in March that she bit into a finger in a bowl of chili served at a San Jose Wendy's. Ayala is set to be arraigned on charges of attempted grand theft for the millions of dollars Wendy's International Inc. lost as a result of negative publicity. David Boyd, a county prosecutor, told local newspapers that Ayala could be arraigned as early as Monday. Police believe she planted the finger in her food. Ayala has said she did not put the finger in the chili served to her by the third-largest U.S. hamburger chain. The origins of the finger remain a mystery. |
Awesome. Looks like I've got a stop to make at lunch - after I've eaten real food elsewhere. ;)
|
Fyi for anyone making an extra trip for the frosty.
It's a kiddie sized. Think dixie-cup. It's free and that's a good thing, but I don't think it's worth an extra trip... |
Ok now I can eat Wendy's again! Even though I knew she planted the finger, I had to wait for something like this before I would try it again. :)
"The San Jose police department announced Thursday that a Nevada resident who was injured in an industrial accident is the source of the severed finger found in a bowl of chili in San Jose. They say Anna Ayala planted it at a Wendy's restaurant." :snap: |
