We haven't had a daylight society-ish thread here yet, that I'm aware of, so here one is. That and I didn't want to start yet another devoted to my ridiculous moving situation.

So we are getting out of this white trash ghetto hellhole on Tuesday! Hooray! The baby is due in two weeks, but I'm really hoping that she'll be a few weeks late. I still have to acquire pretty much everything I need for the baby (which isn't a ton of stuff), plus furnish the house (at least partially) and have a baby shower. I'm not throwing my own shower of course, but it's at my house, so it requires some work on my part.

I welcome the work, of course, because I won't be living in this tiny place where, yes, those people still barbecue with their shirts off every day. I get my doggies back (I could rent them their own apartment with what we've been paying to board them), and Indi will have a yard to play in.

So what's going on with people here? I'm glad to see the boards didn't crash or anything while I've been gone. Oh! I'm also deep in planning our December WDW vacation. I can't wait. I miss DL though. Hopefully next year will bring us back home. I do love WDW though. Sadly it has to be one or the other unless I discover some rich relative that will die soon and leave me a fortune. But seeing as how I have five siblings, my cut would probably be too small anyways.

Perhaps I'll be able to afford a DL vacation if I go alone. That's sounding pretty darn good after spending the last five weeks in a 500 sq foot space with Michael and Indi. Whatever doesn't kill us...right?

Traci - your killing me! I sooo feel your pain with the whole lack of space thing! When we moved to Tucson, we had no idea about which areas were good, schools, etc. We decided to just rent an apartment for awhile til we got it together. The apartments we chose even gave us a $1200 gift card to Walmart! (hate Walmart all you want...but I bought ALOT of stuff with that gift card!)

Sounded good at the time....fast forward 10 months...doesn't sound so good anymore!
The walls are basically closing in on me...can't rearrange the furniture..it only works one way...the carpets suck..even after cleaning them, they get dirty again so quickly. Add to this the lively 3 college/military boys that live above us...who have a fondness for loud music, throwing cigarette butts over the balcony onto my patio, throwing parties that don't start til 10:00pm...and apparently want to win any upcoming Dance Dance Revolution contests coming up...they practice all the time!!!!!!!

I'm about at my wits end! Two months...I may not make it!

Woohoo for Traci getting out though! And I'm all excited about your new arrival. We want pics with Mickey Ears as soon as the kid is cleaned off! ;) Best of luck with all that.

Yes, good to hear from you, Traci. You've been on my mind......as well as your baby, house, shirtless neighbors, etc. Glad to hear you're moving on Tuesday!

I'm so tired right now....If you add the hours sleep I've gotten the past two nights together it would still be way less than eight... and we had a car wash this morning... and I've been at work for 9 hours already, and I've got 4 more to go. I know that sounds so whiney....really, I love my job...I'm just SO TIRED! :sigh: Ok, I feel a bit better now.
