There was a quake a few minutes ago, seems like an aftershock of the Youcaipa one. Current estimate is 4.0. I felt it here on the second floor of this 2 story buidling. A small, quick jolt, with a second or two of swaying. Nothing major.

Yeah, I felt the earth move just now. ;)

Yep. Felt it. Short and non-scary. Just the way I like 'em.

While it's not terribly surprising that I did not feel any of the recent quakes I have known about all of them almost as soon as you.

While I'm stuck here in the purgatory of the east coast, I still have a lot of family out in SoCal so I signed up for the USGS quake notification service Anything 4.0 or over and I'm emailed within minuets. I'm just waiting for the day I get the 9.0 message so I can sprint to my TV and not miss a second of the CNN coverage. :)

Now, THERE'S a line that could be easily taken out of context!

Goodness, you haven't felt any of these. There may be something wrong with your equilibrium, you might want to see a doctor about that.

It's worrisome, I know.

Even more troubling is how I managed to stay dry through however many hurricanes there were last year.
