I'm back from the 50th....and tired...
 

i didn't even camp out, but was up at 4:30am to make it there by 8am... ;)

here's a few pictures ...:)

oye....

we passed by the park on our way home at 3:30am from a party, debated on going and hopping in line right then...

but we opted for sleep.

We hit the park around 4pm, stayed for the ceremonies at 4:45, took some pictures, went to the festival arena and bought some day of merchandise, and left. Nothing too spectacular, but hey, we were there on the 50th, thats what matters :)

we heard all the stories and everything from friends in line at 5 and 7am... so very glad we did not endure that... sleep was more important then ;)

Anyhow, ran into BarTopDancer & MickeyD, saw hastin, lisa, chris (and the people they were with, sorry, couldnt put faces with names) right before the 445 ceremonies, right as you moved up closer to the center of the street.

You saw us scoping out a "camping spot" for Firewroks. We were there early and there were STILL people who beat us to the area. The sidewalk was gone already!
