new big figs at Disneyland
 

2 new big figs recently showed up at Disneyland. We saw them on Sunday at Disneyana. Jessica Rabbit is absolutely gorgeous. Here's the pic of him: http://www.colddeadfish.net/images/DLR/ghostbigfig.jpg. The translucency makes him really creepy looking. Both are priced at $150, and both are currently indicated as sold out at Disneyana, but that seems par for the course whenever a new big fig is released. I expect they'll be getting more stock soon.

The Hatbox Ghost is indeed a geeky choice by Disney. But if he doesn't work, what's the point? ;)

That's a big fig. Indeed, when I first read the title of the thread, I thought someone had planted new trees.

How big is big when your talking about a big fig?

Big design choice
Big pedestal needed
Big chunk of floorspace
Big admission of geekiness to those Muggles that stop by and say "What the hell is that huge thing of a zombie holding a box?"

Well, it's got to be accurate to the real thing.

Our Malecifcient is about 2' tall. They are usually around that height or a bit taller. She's pretty vertical so she doesn't have a huge footprint.

They are made out of resin and are fairly sturdy, but are breakable.

I love having one. She scares the neighbours. I wouldn't want a whole house of them, but one or two nicely placed is great. And, $125-$150 is cheap - even for mass-produced sculpture.
