An ode to the little blue post-it note on my desk - no, not the one on the left, the other one

Flippantly flaunting
Taunting you remind
Gripping ripping
I can't leave you behind
Perhaps I'd best get to those TPS reports.

Moss laden shingles*
Interspersed with broken little bee-hives
Litter the yard with decay.
They hide amidst the tall, waving grasses of Autumn
Eric, get out there and mow the damn thing!


*we're getting a new roof, and they're tearing off the old cedar shake crap
